It can be selected between the mean value with an averaging duration of 1s and the instantaneous value. The latter one is recommended for fast changing speed.

 Time window

The M312 is in general able to detect rotational speed of up to 6 1/min. But it requires 10 seconds measuring time to detect standstill. The minimum speed has to be increased in order to accelerate this process. For instance, a minimum speed of 30 1/min allows to detect standstill in 2 seconds, but then the rotational speed of less than 30 1/min is not detectable at all.
