VM-SCOPE stores 10 million samples per channel. The use of this memory can be controlled in the Memory depth menu. If, for example, 40 kHz bandwidth are needed, VM-SCOPE will store about 100,000 samples per second. We assume that the measuring time is 10 seconds which results in 1 million samples. If VM-SCOPE averages 10 measurements the memory of 10 million samples will be filled completely.
![1](drex_bullet_1.png) Maximum signal frequency
This is the highest frequency for the band filter. The band filter can always be set to lower frequencies. VM-SCOPE ensures that the signal will always be free of aliasing effects.

![2](drex_bullet_2.png) Maximum posttrigger time
The maximum duration of measurement starting at the trigger event. It can always be set to lower values during measurement.

![3](drex_bullet_3.png) Maximum number of averages
Maximum number of averaged measurements. It can always be set to lower values during measurement (only oscilloscope mode).
