Piezoelectric force sensors are suitable for measuring dynamic tensile and compressive forces. They are characterized by very high resolution compared to strain gauge transducers. The lower cut-off frequency is in the order of 0.1 to 1 Hz, depending on the measuring amplifier used. Common charge amplifiers are suitable for signal processing.
